Courtney Stanley and Shane Kitchens Wedding

Here is the complete blog post for the wedding of Courtney Stanley and Shane Kitchens (updated October 2nd). They were married on September 12th at the Windmill Ranch Preserve in Snyder, Texas. Even though it rained, it sure was lovely and made everything very lush. This was also my first wedding to have a "First Sight" and I have to say it was the BEST THING EVER!!!!! There was no stress other than trying to get the boys ready. Haha! I loved it! The reception went smoother and I almost didn't know what to do with myself.

I had a chance to get to know Courtney a little bit last year at my brother's wedding, who also got married out at the Windmill Ranch. She is such a fun, sweet, outgoing girl and not to mention amazingly beautiful. She is SO photogenic. Courtney's Mother made me a gorgeous necklace and earrings and I have to say WOW. She did a fantastic job. I wasn't expecting that at all! It was incredibly thoughtful! Thank you so very much! Shane's Mother was also so gracious to me. I wish I had a little more time to talk with her. She was working so hard when I arrived and didn't get dressed up until the last minute. I know she was exhausted as was the whole family. I enjoyed working alongside the Stanley's and Kitchens' for this monumental event.

Kendall Maternity Session

Sunday we barely...and I mean barely...got maternity pictures in for my sister-in-law Kendall. Less than 48 hours later, she gave birth to my fourth niece, Trusslynn Renae Owen. We had a great shoot, found some misquitoes and went round the merry go round. Then we were pooped! My Mom and Eric (that's my boyfriend) came along to help out with Riley while we got down to business. I think they turned out great. There are many more, which I will get posted to the proofing site later. Enjoy! And, congrats Cade, Kendall and Riley!

Grant and Stephanie Knipe 30th Anniversary Celebration!

Corey and Stephanie asked me if I could photograph Grant's and Stephanie's 30th Wedding Anniversary. I was completely honored to do so and thrilled that they asked me. The thing was...it was a surprise!!! And, I love surprises especially when I get to keep something from someone else. I feel all sneaky.

I have known the Knipe's for quite awhile now. They are such a GREAT family that love each other so much. Corey loves his parents and what he did for them was simply wonderful! And, I know he had lots of help as he said at the party, but I think we all should give him lots of credit because the guy doesn't slow down. Corey has lots on his plate and I have to applaud him. Stephanie, his girlfriend, had a sneaky little hand in this too! She is going to nursing school and I know that isn't easy. So my hats off to you guys for making this party such a wonderful success and creating long lasting memories for all that attended.
