Remembering Those Who Served and Those Who Are Serving Our Country

I was in my hometown yesterday for a photo session and as I drove past the courthouse something grabbed my attention. There were crosses with flags draped over them remembering the ones we have lost in combat from Scurry County. I have never seen Snyder do this and it was really moving. I thought after my session I would go back and see if there were names on the crosses. There is one in particular that I was looking for, my Great Aunt LaVerne Farquhar. She is my Papa's older sister. Please read below:

"On February 10th, 1944, Second Lieutenant LaVerne Farquhar of the 2nd Auxiliary Surgical Group working in the 33rd Field Hospital in Anzio was killed when artillery shells hit..."

Heather Zajicek's Texas Tech Graduation Pics

Meet Heather...she is a SUPER HIP girl that I have known for awhile. I had SO many favs...enjoy! She is one of my youngest brother's friends and from my hometown. She is also graduating from Texas Tech in May. I had a blast yesterday and we went to so many places and she had lots of fun clothes. Thanks for a creative, WAY FUN evening!!!!!
